Unsolicited / Nuisance Telephone Calls and “Junk Mail”
These terms form the basis upon which we deal with Unsolicited / Nuisance Telephone Calls
Please read this page carefully. If you do not agree with the conditions of this statement, do not make telephone calls to us if they are not directly related to an enquiry about our photographic or video services.
Specifically, the charges, details and costs you may incur as a result of what we consider “Nuisance Calls” will be as follows.
Telephone Calls we deem to be Unsolicited / Nuisance Telephone Calls :
1 / Any telephone call made to any of our telephone numbers published on this website which are attempting to sell to us a product or service which we have not previously requested information and pre-
2 / Any telephone call which seeks to gain personal information which is not available on this website. For instance: requests for Dates of Birth, National Insurance Numbers, Bank or other account details or any other confidential information. We consider these requests as “Phishing” scam calls, often fradulently used to obtain personal information.
Please note that our telephone numbers are registered with the Telephone Preference Service and making calls to us which we have otherwise prohibited you from doing so (as above) will be considered as a criminal offence, as well as giving rise to a civil penalty imposed upon you.
We will not be responding to “Spam” emails, either of the marketing variety, the “chain letter” variety or of the financial-
Postal Junk / unsolicited / “Personal Information Phishing” Postal Mail:
Please note that although most Unsolicited / Junk mail received in paper format will be placed into a recycling box unopened, some junk mail, such as letters asking for personal information or from individuals or companies pretending to be owed money for advertising directories, insurance claims, finance or any other potential waste of time to ourselves will be charged £55 for each and every reply that we are required to send in response and that, if necessary, we will pursue those claims through legal action. Please do NOT send us this sort of prohibited mail, unless you wish to pay for the waste of our time.
Jurisdiction and choice of law
If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
